NOSES was founded in 2000 and has expanded considerably, with members residing across northern Ohio.
Members and Canines train outdoors in all terrains and weather encountered in Ohio. Members are required to maintain certification in First Aid and CPR and to attend necessary seminars for advanced education and training. The dogs are required to pass obedience and the appropriate search dog discipline certifications as well as the Canine Good Citizen Test as administered by the American Kennel Club.
